As Launch Day is getting closer and closer my excitement has also grown more and more. Not only am I excited to leave for 9 months, but I am also nervous about all of the challenges that lie ahead. When I’m nervous, I tend to overthink everything which caused me to overpack unnecessary things. While I was packing, I kept hearing God kept saying, “Too much”…and surprise, surprise, I was definitely packing too much. The process for me to let go of some things like extra clothes and un-needed gadgets was not easy for me; still, I learned how to let go. Not only did I learn how to let go of my stuff, but also I learned to let go of my worries. After God reassured me that He’s got my back, it made releasing everything and everyone I know and love a bit easier. Furthermore, this experience of letting go only grew my trust in God more. So I encourage you to also let go of anything that God is asking for. Trust me, as I did, you will feel the heaviness of the weight literally fall off of your shoulders.
Financial Update: I am more than 75% of the way to my total fundraising goal of $15,800 and steadily making progress toward my next milestone of begin fully funded by January 2022. I am still in awe of God’s favor and faithfulness. Thank you for partnering with me on this goal 🙂
